Rabbi Danny Marmorstein is the founding Rabbi of Ahavat Olam. Rabbi Marmorstein received his Rabbinical Ordination ("s'micha" in Hebrew) in 2005 from Maimonides University.  Prior to his studies to become a Rabbi, Danny was certified as a Cantor by the Cantors Assembly in 1992 and served 2 South Florida synagogues.  In addition to his religious education, Danny has been awarded a Bachelor of Music in Education from Oberlin College, a Master of Music in Conducting from the University of Miami, and a State of Florida Building Contractors License.  In the early 1970s Danny worked as a musician in Los Angeles, singing with the Carpenters.  Ironically, now being a Rabbi, the only album he recorded with the group was their Christmas album.

Rabbi Danny is married to Linda Levinson. They have four children:  Brian (Mallory), Steven (Rachel), Frannie and Stacey and have been blessed with three beautiful grandsons, Logan, Dylan and Gavin and one beautiful granddaughter, Parker.
