Chavurah, Hebrew for a group of friends, serves as a little home within our temple home. It is a smaller, nuclear family within our larger temple family. Chavurot are usually composed of members of similar ages and interests, and those who are at similar stages of life. They dine out or in together, attend services together, and go to sporting events, movies, and other fun happenings as a group. Being a member of a Chavurah fortifies our bond to the synagogue and to each other and to our faith.  You will find that being in a Chavurah strengthens your social, cultural, and religious connections.
