Kibbitz & Nosh is a monthly get together, facilitated by either Jeffrey Dorn or Richard Larin, where both members and non-members of Ahavat Olam meet to discuss current events and other enticing topics.  Meetings are held at either at the Dorn residence or the Larin residence, and initially were held on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 10:00 a.m.

However, based on the current climate, Kibbitz & Nosh is meeting via the ZOOM platform at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month.  An example of the topics that are discussed is:

What is the future going to be like after the Corona virus?  Will the ways of earning a living have changes which are permanent?  Are there societal winners and losers?  Are that any good things coming out of this pandemi which can be used to make us a better country or enjoy a better life.  Some say it takes a crisis to rally get things done.

New faces are always welcome!  The comradery is great and the new venue let's you participate without even leaving the comfort of your home.
